Event description

The cut-off low (COL) coupled/associated with the ridging Atlantic high pressure system is expected to bring scattered to widespread rains and snowfall over some of the high-lying areas from Wednesday (03rd June) night to Friday (05th). Very cold weather conditions can be anticipated on Thursday, 04th and Friday, 05th .Temperatures are expected to improve from Sunday 07th.

Instructions

The nation is hereby advised to take precautions on the said dates as the expected conditions have a likelihood of hindering or affecting safe movement to or from the highlands. Lesotho Meteorological Services (LMS) will continue to monitor the system and will update the nation as appropriate. Please stay tuned to local media and national television for daily updates.
